Your privacy matters.
This policy explains what information we collect and how it may be used when you contact Disaster Logic, request property help, or submit a referral.
01.
Information we collect
We may collect information directly from you, automatically through the website, and from referral partners, service businesses, or other authorized people involved in a property-service request.
Information may include your name, email address, phone number, company, property or service location, relationship to the property, issue type, requested service, urgency, notes, photographs, referral source, service areas, business details, communications, and other information you voluntarily submit.
Protect sensitive information
Do not submit Social Security numbers, banking credentials, medical information, insurance login details, or other highly sensitive information through a general website form.
Information collected automatically
We and our providers may collect IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, button and form interactions, approximate location, visit time, and cookie or analytics identifiers.
02.
Information received from other people
A referral partner, property manager, professional, company representative, or other authorized person may submit customer or opportunity information. Anyone submitting another person’s information confirms that they have an appropriate relationship, authorization, or lawful basis to provide it.
03.
How we use information
We may use information to:
- Receive, review, organize, and respond to inquiries.
- Understand a property problem or service need.
- Connect a customer with an appropriate participating business.
- Preserve referral attribution and customer context.
- Administer referral-partner and business relationships.
- Evaluate referral eligibility and applicable rewards.
- Communicate about requests, referrals, or support.
- Maintain operational and program records.
- Prevent fraud, duplication, abuse, and security incidents.
- Analyze website traffic and improve our services.
- Comply with legal, accounting, tax, and reporting obligations.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual for analytics, reporting, and service improvement.
04.
How we share information
Participating service businesses
We may share relevant contact, property, service, urgency, photograph, and request information with businesses that may evaluate or respond to a request.
Referral partners and workspaces
We may share appropriate attribution, status, eligibility, and program information with the person or business associated with a referral, without disclosing unnecessary customer information.
Operational providers and advisers
Hosting, form processing, email delivery, analytics, security, storage, customer-management, legal, accounting, insurance, and consulting providers may process information for us.
Legal and business purposes
We may disclose information when required by law; to prevent fraud or protect safety and rights; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information for monetary payment. Some analytics or advertising technologies may be regulated as “sharing” or targeted advertising in certain jurisdictions, where applicable choices will be provided.
05.
Referrals and customer information
Referral records may connect the referring individual or company, customer opportunity, participating workspace, requested service, referral status, attribution, and potential reward eligibility.
We use this information to preserve attribution, prevent duplication, coordinate communications, and administer applicable program terms. A submitted referral is not guaranteed to be accepted, assigned, completed, or rewarded.
06.
Cookies and analytics
We may use essential cookies to operate and secure the website. Analytics technologies, including services associated with Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, may help us understand how people find and use the website, which pages and actions they engage with, and website or campaign performance.
You may manage cookies through your browser or a website cookie-control tool. Disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.
07.
Email, telephone, and text communications
We may contact you about an inquiry, property-service request, job referral, partner application, service-company connection, or support issue. Operational communications are distinct from general marketing. Promotional communications, if offered, will include legally required consent and opt-out choices. Message and data rates may apply.
08.
Data retention and security
We retain information as reasonably necessary to process and document inquiries, referrals, service connections, payments, disputes, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, legal, and operational obligations. Retention varies by information type and relationship.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. However, no website, email, internet transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
09.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of information, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or information about categories collected and disclosed. You may also have rights concerning targeted advertising, sharing, sale, or marketing.
Submit a request through our Contact page and begin your message with “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity or authority. We will not unlawfully discriminate against anyone for exercising an applicable right.
10.
Children’s privacy
Disaster Logic is intended for adults seeking or referring property services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information. Contact us if you believe a child submitted personal information.
11.
Third-party and international processing
Independent websites, providers, apps, and platforms are governed by their own privacy notices. Disaster Logic primarily supports U.S. property-service needs. International visitors understand that information may be processed in the United States or where our providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
12.
